Surah Al-Imran – The Family of Imran

Surah Al-Imran is the 3rd chapter of the Holy Quran. The title Al-Imran means “Family of Imran”. This Surah was revealed in Madina and consists of 200 verses and 20 Rukus. It is located in Juz 3 and 4 of the Quran.

This Surah narrates the story of Prophet Imran’s family, his daughter Maryam (Mary), and his grandson Prophet Isa (Jesus, peace be upon him). It emphasizes that Allah sends messengers to guide humanity towards the true path of Islam. It warns against deviation, encourages repentance, and highlights the importance of charity and helping the poor.
